Nicholas “Scribetail” has been writing fiction since he got his first personal computer at the age of 14, practicing and honing his craft for almost a decade in various niches. Nick studied graphic design and world literature in a US college before moving back to his home country of Canada in 2012 to study computer science. In 2013 he started broadening his writing ability from fiction to non-fiction, using critical thinking skills he learned from programming in college to write analytical critiques and reviews under various other pen names.

His eclectic pool of interests has helped spur inspiration from experience and knowledge in a variety of fields; some of which even mixed in some rather interesting ways. To Nick, the “Never stop learning” mantra of his pagan faith went hand-in-hand with his love of scientific curiosity and discovery. A lover of story telling in mediums ranging from books to comics to movies, he especially loved the medium of video games, as they were one of the tools by which he learned to read by wanting to understand the story of The Legend of Zelda, Metroid, and Megaman.
